Students enjoy a sensational trip experiencing the Chinese culture! 

The trip included visits to Cazu Carving Stones and sightseeing aroudn the 'Land of the Dragons' Chongqing.

The students tried their hand at making dumplings, learning calligraphy, the Chinese language and even taking Kung Fu lessons!

Student Alessandro Accica said of the experience:

"This was a journey of a lifetime for me, I had many memorable experiences, thrilling adventures and I met amazing people that I will never forget. I will always be thankful to UCLan and our lecturers for this unforgettable experience!" 

The Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

It is the fourth consecutive year when we offer our students an opportunity to undertake Food Safety Training in co-operation with Richard Bradford Knox from RBK Consultants . (http://www.foodsafetyintegrity.com/ ). 

The training is a part of the recent Our UCLan Week activities for the students from THE Division. It is open mainly for first year students, but this year they were joined by students from the final year of the undergraduate Hospitality course, as well as a few postgraduate students interested in enhancing their employability skills.
